Even if I don't hang it around my neck, the rubber makes the phone non-skid so it doesn't slither out of my pocket.

It was too small to fit my phone

I love this cell phone lanyard.
I have previously gone with just cell phone covers or the wallet that holds the cell phone, but I find them very clumsy when taking pictures and I take a LOT of pictures.
When I saw this, I was skeptical, but I was desperate to find a better way.
I was concerned about it holding my phone tight enough so there would be no slipping, well that is not an issue with the lanyard.
It fits tightly in the strips on each corner.
I was worried that it would not be long enough to be versatile enough to use comfortably while wearing.
It is a really good length and you can adjust it, as to how freely it moves.
AND I can use it easily while wearing it. And when I have it on I have it on with the phone closest to my body to avoid the screen being scratched.
I bought one for a friend who sometimes leaves a room and leaves the phone behind.
She went out to work in her yard and fell and she couldn't call for help.
The only reason for the four stars instead of five is because over time, the cord does stretch out some if your phone is heavy at all.
But when it does, I will probably buy another one.
When I am out shopping I always have one or two people ask me where I bought it and I tell them on Amazon and tell them what I typed in to find it.
I had eight Walmart employees ask me where I bought it, in one visit to the store.
I would most definitely recommend it.

Use it when trail riding. No fear of dropping it.

This was very disappointing. There are no instructions for putting it together or use. There is some Chinese stuff on the side of the box. My coupling area fell apart as I tried to assemble it. I would return it if I could. I would not trust this to hold my iPhone.
