Took it on a few MTB rides and so far so good.

This lasted for only 14 rides before breaking.

I did expect this to work as well as it did. I used it with my Samsung S8 in an Otterbox and mounted it on the stem of my bicycle right before an overnight offroad tour. I covered 100 miles in 2 days, most of that on gravel roads and trails. When first put the phone in place it felt pretty flimsy - I could tap the phone and it would jiggle. I test rode it down our very bumpy alley and off a few curbs and it seemed to hold it in place just fine so I kept it on for my tour. I had no problem viewing my phone (which I used for navigation with RideWithGPS). The real test came when I went down a steep descent and my front wheel sank into some deep sand. I went flying over the bars and crash was strong enough that it twisted my brake levers (this is why you don't over tighten them!) and put a major dent in my helmet. I fully expected to have to hunt down my phone thinking there was no way this overblown rubber band of a mount could have held it during the impact and yet there it was, completely unscathed.

Purchased in the beginning of April. Broke before end of June. When it was not broken, it functioned very well. Easy to install and use. Used for stem mount my iPhone for tracking and navigation. But, it did not last past three months.

I really liked this item but after using only 4 times I discovered a crack on the glass over the lens on the back of my phone. They mount did not protect this from a screw on the stem and the case I had did not have protection for this area of the phone. The crack goes right over one of the phone lenses, making photos no longer clear. I'm disappointed, it would have been nice to have the coverage on the back be further up on the phone (where the camera lenses are).

My note 9 is huge and I have a thin case around it. Wasn't sure this was going to work for it. The phone mount looks small but had no problem stretching to fit over my phone even with the case on. Installs easily on any bike.

If you want you your phone bouncing up and down against your bike stem then this is the mount for you. The entire thing is made of silicone, no rigid support for the phone. Not worth the $5.99 I was charged by amazon to return it, let a lone the $19.99 sale price. It did arrive fast though.

Holds the phone nice and secure and you can still see it easily.

Holds my note 5 securely and is easy to take on and off of the bike! Seems really durable too!
