Attaches to my bike with ease and holds it tight during my rides.
I have to remove my protective case on a Moto G5 plus to get it into the holder which is still very tight . Since the holder is stretched to it's limit I expect it will eventually break and then if my phone falls out it no longer is protected. Also, during a ride the mound turns to one side making it harder to read my phone.
I'm a bike rider in the city of Chicago. There are bike lanes, but any rider knows, there are pot holes everywhere. Needless to say, I bought this phone mount thinking it would be a cheap alternative to the mount I had before (because my bike was stolen) Installation Couldn't be easier. Sturdiness To the bike, it's pretty good, I connected it to my pure cycle sternum and it seems to lock on pretty well. I rode in the rain and it became a little slick. Phone steadiness is terrible. Every crack, every bump, I hear the phone shake. I have an iPhone X with a minimal case. The phone never fell off, but I constantly looked at the mount to see if the phone was ok. I'd say if you're looking for an alternative to a phone mount with a tightening mechanism, then this is your phone mount. However, I'd still go with a phone mount with a tightening mechanism and a clamping system in addition to rubber harnesses.
Exactly what I was looking for-a stem mounted bike mount. This is simple, secure and easy to use and install. Perfect.
Works great, exactly what I was looking for!
It blocks all the sensors on the phones I’ve tried it with so the front facing camera and face unlock won’t work. It also blocks the ambient light sensor so the screen goes super dark.
Fine product
Great design. Very sturdy and holds iPhone 10 securely even with case on it.
While I haven't officially tried this on a ride, I'm not convinced this will stay attached based on the way it connected to my bike stem. Time will tell.
I've only had this a few days but taken it on a 30 mile ride yesterday. When first putting the phone in I thought it might snap because of the amount it had to stretch, but it didn't. It was easy to put on and held the phone really well with no negative issues. I'll update this post if something changes.
